“可持续脉搏”【这是英国一家反转民间机构】跟踪世卫组织上周发表的报告，顺藤摸瓜找出1991年美国环保署文件，表明当时环保署就完全了解草甘膦导致癌症的可能性。




1985年2月11日，美国环保署机构人员首次提出草甘膦可能致癌的问题，并于3越4日召集临时委员会会议，一致同意将草甘膦致癌性定位C（第三级），即“有证据表明可能致癌”。

6年后环保署将“C”改成“E”，即“无证据表明可能对人体致癌”。此神奇之时点，恰好是孟山都公司开发其首个耐受农达除草剂的转基因农作物之时。

今日已是2015年，WHO将草甘膦致癌性重归“C”级。

Followingon from last week’s Word Health Organization (WHO)report on glyphosate,which confirmed the world’s most used herbicide probably causescancer, Sustainable Pulse has discovered documents from 1991 thatshow how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) themselveswere fully aware of glyphosate’s carcinogenic potential.

OnFebruary 11, 1985 the carcinogenic potential of glyphosate wasfirst considered by an EPA panel, called the Toxicology Branch AdHoc Committee. The Committee, in a consensus review dated March 4,1985, then classified glyphosate as a Class C Carcinogen. A Class CCarcinogen has ”Suggestiveevidence of carcinogenic potential”according to the EPA.



ThisClass C classification was changed by the EPA six years later to aClass E category which suggests “evidence of non-carcinogenicityfor humans”. Mysteriously this change in glyphosate’sclassification occurred during the same period that Monsanto wasdeveloping its first Roundup-Ready (glyphosate-resistant) GMCrops.



Itis now 2015 and WHO has put glyphosate’s cancer causing abilityback in the spotlight. The question is who is to blame for thisshocking lack of protection for public health? The answer isthe U.S.government,who have pushed glyphosate around the World as part of theircampaign to support the U.S. biotech industry in their attempt todominate global agriculture.
